It's not often I'm stuck for something to say, however descriptive phrases are failing me for this particular dive...
... it was very VERY good...

... and yet

It was a fantastic experience and one that I'm glad I've done, at the same time there is something mundane about diving to 30m in crystal clear, very warm (34 degress centigrade!!!), fresh, chlorinated water; especially boring when the only thing to do is fin around in 5m diameter circles. I can rant and rave about the quality of the environment we dived in BUT it was ultimately quite boring and to say I felt like a goldfish would be an understatement. Having people looking in whilst you give the mermaid an obligatory kiss at nearly 30m is quite an unnerving experience.
  • Would I reccomend this dive to others? YES, definitely; however you will see what I mean about boredom after 10 minutes (unless you're practising drills).
  • Would I dive the SETT again... YES; I've actually threatened to organise a trip there for anybody who cares to join in, so let me know if you're interested.
  • The best thing about this dive was having the chance to meet Tiggy and her hubby Bill the night before; then diving with her and Keith Lawrence the next day (not actually diving with because it was buddy pairs only but I guess you know what I mean).

Following a couple of enquiries about the SETT I thought I should publish the following:
  • Must be certified to at least Advanced Open Water or equivalent (unless partaking in an instructor lead course)
  • Cost = £35
  • Maximum bottom time is limited to 15 minutes
