DDRC specialise in the treatment of medical emergencies involving decompression illness, carbon monoxide poisoning, smoke inhalation, cyanide poisoning and soft tissue infection including necrotising faciitis, and the routine treatment of diabetic ulcers, radiation tissue damage, failing skin grafts, Osteomyelitis and other medical conditions through Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBO).
DDRC is a centre of excellence for research into the effects and benefit of HBO Therapy and as a Charity raises funds through the Friends of DDRC to assist in this valuable activity.
